Nice to Meet You! (it's pronounced jay-hoon)

I'm a photographer born and bred in Durham, NC with stops of varying lengths in Missouri, Western North Carolina, South Africa and Brooklyn. I started my career working for newspapers and then the NBA before co-founding Inspired Storytellers to use those skills to affect positive change through storytelling. I currently tell stories of impact at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I am also pursuing a master's degree in Digital Communications at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Meda. My work has been exhibited at the MoMA and New York Public Library and has appeared in Garden & Gun, GQ, National Geographic, Wired, Time Magazine, PDN Emerging Photographer, Sports Illustrated, Mashable, SLAM Magazine, USA Today, The Durham Herald-Sun, Indy Week and elsewhere.  Additionally, I am a licensed drone pilot.
