Spent a little time hanging out with these skaters in Arizona during some down time between shoots. Very cool kids.

I was in Arizona for the weekend assisting Travis on a couple different shoots, one of which was a project photographing gay cultural centers across the country, one of which was in Tucson. Tucson is an amazing city, “a bunch of hippies in the desert,” says Travis. It really remind of Boone and made me miss the good ole days at Appalachian St. The whole downtown was painted vibrant colors and had like 10 different tye-dye/incense/thrift stores and a few tea shops.

Audrey and Mike hired me to photograph a family party at a beautiful restaurant on the Hudson and I shot this by the river waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive. I always have a lot of fun at events like these and this was no different, it was very fun night.
